Research Interests Integrating biogeography, plant systematics, ecology and other interdisciplinary theories and methods to study the determination mechanism of the formation and extinction of plants and the geographical pattern of biodiversity. i) Revealing the geographic pattern, formation and extinction mechanism of biodiversity, especially focusing on the flora of China; ii) Exploring the geographical differentiation and evolutionary constraints of key plant functional traits. iii) Methodological exploration of biodiversity and vegetation monitoring at geographical scales. iv) Community assembly of subtropical forests. Field Work We have collected and identified more than 20,000 plant specimens.
